The fact that he replies to you is a pretty good indicator that he is interested in continuing a relationship--not a guarantee, of course, but a good indicator. I think you best next move would be to go ahead and ask him out. If he is interested in a relationship, he will accept. I think you do not need to worry about "not pressuring" him.
