I just recieved a letter in the mail and I need help to know what it is!!! Help Fast Please!!?

I just recieved a letter in the mail that says this "OFFICIAL BUISINESS--JURY SUMMONS" thats on the cover then inside theres a form that says JUROR QUALIFICATION FORM. Then it says that I am summoned to appear at the Corthouse to serve as a petit juror. Please help me I aint got no Idea what this is.....if it is a job or something do they pay me? Please Help!!!
