Hold you in his armchair, you can feel his disease?

There's a discussion about it here a href="http://www.songfacts.com/detail.php?id=191" rel="nofollow"http://www.songfacts.com/detail.php?id=1…/a I think that originally it was 'Hold you in his arms yeah you can feel his disease.' Apparently it was published wrongly in the sleeve and sheet music as 'armchair', John decided he liked it and started performing it that way. He's supposed to have said that the lyrics were nonsense, and that people read too much into Beatles lyrics. Certainly when I first heard it, it came across as stream of consciousness, John as we know did a lot of hallucinogens. But yep some people think it's about other Beatles members and there are some in jokes in there.
